BE Health & Yoga 1 or 2 Day Summer Cleanse

People are always asking me what I do to maintain my weight. A few years ago, I started eating vegetables and drinking veggie smoothies for a day or two, following a weekend of over indulging. I noticed it decreased sugar & salt cravings; two of my weaknesses. I found myself doing this “mini cleanse” during times when I felt sluggish or needed some clarity, too. It was a way to rebalance my body and get back on track.

I created this cleanse so that a person could do it for 1 or 2 days, depending on the toxicity level of the body. The meal plan includes juice or smoothies and a salad. If you don’t have a blender or don’t have time to make the smoothies, I’ve given you the option to buy your favorite pre-made juice, but also included my favorite juices from Daily Greens juice. If they are not in your neck of the woods, you can order online they can ship the bottles directly to you! I’ve selected individual Daily Greens juices based on sugar content: less sugar in the morning, a little protein for lunch, and juices to use as snacks. Our test kitchen came up with the Cooling Fire Kale Salad and it is delish! Very well balanced with it’s jalapeno/cayenne kick, and cooling cucumber, cilantro & coconut. Coconut vinegar, that is.

If summer pool parties or vacation has thrown you off track try doing this cleanse for a day or two. You’ll feel better for it!
